How long have you known you wanted to adopt?

 For me, I always knew. Once I knew about babies and that when I got older I could have one, I always thought adoption was a great idea. I had a friend who had been adopted and I think that changed me quite a bit. I saw how amazing his family was and felt so bad for all the kids without homes. That's one of the best lessons I've ever learned.

 I've known for quite some time. Pregnancy has always been a fear of mine; and my wife happens to feel the same way. It took some convincing, but it seems that adopting is the best way to go for us.

 I still am unsure whether I want to adopt or not. That's why I'm here :) I'm hoping to learn more and see how adoption is working for others.

 It just kinda hit me one day. I knew I wasn't ready for another child (pregnancy), but I knew I wanted that same joy again. Helping give a child a great home and getting to experience the whole thing over again was amazing.
