Treated Fairly, Technically

Technically, by law; gay and lesbian couples are supposed to be able to adopt just as quickly as their straight counterparts. It's tougher to adopt as a lesbian woman because there is a lot of discrimination. However, I don't feel this should stop you from doing what you want to do. In time, it will become easier. Look back even just a few years and you can see how quickly times are changing for the better :)

 Beautifully said! :) I

Beautifully said! :) I can't relate directly but I know how it feels to not fit in so I can imagine. I hope one day things change and everyone is treated equal. I know that's a hard thing to change, but there are some things that just don't make sense to me. Someone should not be discriminated against for loving the same sex, or both sexes. It just doesn't offend me and I can't fathom why it offends so many people around me.

 I can't begin to imagine

I can't begin to imagine how hard it must be to be discriminated against on such a regular basic. I think it shows a lot of courage :) More people should have the same attitude as you :)

 I think that technically

I think that technically isnt good enough. things need to be better in general and I really hope it happens soon. We're all the same.
