Such controversy can be boiled down to 2 basic issues:
Determining whether gay people should adopt children
Looking at whether gays should be allowed to adopt as a couple

mamatee Posted at 21:18 on Sun, 09/21/2008For Florida to say that it is okay for a state to pass law against something they "disapprove" of should be against the laws governing separation of church and state. I say that because approving or disapproving of a person's sexual orientation can only be based upon one's own moral beliefs. There is nothing that harms society involved - no harm to another, no violations of other's rights - that's what makes it a moralistic decision. This is just another example of the attempt by certain groups to force their version of morality upon the whole of society.
Being against someone due
Bubblez Posted at 02:57 on Wed, 10/05/2011Being against someone due to their sexual preference is complete discrimination. I'm seriously not sure how people can get away with this; when other forms of discrimination are frowned upon. Hopefully things will be equal one day.
