I was wondering, how do you go from being a mom, to an employee to just... yourself? I have such a hard time switching between roles. I can't seem to stop thinking about work even when I'm nowhere near it. Advice!!
This is something I've heard a lot of debate about lately, so I was wondering what you guys think. I would say, no younger than 15. Maybe even 16.
When you're going through a rough patch and need some advice on children, where do you turn? I don't have children yet but when I do; I know I'm going to go running to my mother with all sorts of questions. She's always been a really strong person and knows her stuff. She's a very intelligent lady.
I wanted to get some ideas about how to spend time with my children once I have them. What are some of your favorite ways to spend time with your family? How do you keep your children busy?
I was wondering if any of you have ever thought of adopting twins or a brother/sister etc to keep them from being seperated. If I had the money, I would do it but being able to afford even one child is a struggle. I would never be able to seperate a family. I would feel extremely guilty.
I know a lot of people who have children and the times they put their children to bed vary dramatically. Some people put their children to bed at about 7 at night, others as late as 10. What do you think is a good time for a child to go to bed?
I don't have a biological child, but I adopted my baby girl in 2009 and I was 28 at the time. I feel like I picked a great age for myself. You learn so much about yourself as you get closer to 30. It amazes me all the time how much I'm changing.
How much of a savings cushion do you think would be best to have if you are about to have a child? (Whether adopted or not) I think this is something most people don't plan very well. Just curious what you guys think.
It seems like more and more teenagers are becoming pregnant all the time. What kinds of things do you do to educate your children so they do not get pregnant?
Don't get me wrong, I love my baby boy but he's constantly waking up in the middle of the night. I'm so exhausted and once I'm up, have a hard time getting back to sleep. Any tricks on how to keep him sleeping through the night?
